Tibi-Stim

Tibi-Stim is a modern electrical stimulator for the treatment of:

• urinary and faecal incontinence (overactive bladder syndrome, urge incontinence, leakage, frequent urination)
• pain syndromes of various origins (neuritis, radiculopathy, phantom pain, arthritis, dorsopathy, bone and ligament injuries)
• pain associated with cystitis.

Tibial neuromodulation technology

• minimally invasive stimulation of the posterior tibial nerve (n. tibialis posterior), which passes along the inside of the ankle
• use of surface or needle electrodes
• stimulation frequency — 20 Hz, session duration — 30 minutes
• suitable for patients with neurological conditions (Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries), overactive bladder syndrome and post-stroke
• a wide range of stimulation amplitudes in pre-defined protocols.

TENS Mode

Tibi-Stim supports TENS mode — transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation. The method is based on the application of electrical stimuli via surface electrodes, which are placed along nerve pathways or in the painful area.

The electrical stimuli activate sensory nerve fibres and help to reduce pain and muscle tension. As a result, this method is widely used in physiotherapy and rehabilitation as a non-invasive and well-tolerated form of pain relief.

In addition to urological applications, the TENS can be used for a wide range of therapeutic purposes.
