Neurosoft is happy to announce that it will be participating as a sponsor in Dr. Alvaro Pascual-Leone’s “Intensive Course in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation” scheduled for October 24-28, 2016 in Boston, MA (USA) with its Neuro-MS/D TMS unit.
During this intensive course, the Neurosoft TMS unit will be used by participants to learn the basic principles, application standards and its possible future integration in clinical neurophysiology, cognitive neuroscience, neurology, and psychiatry.
This course offers a challenging program for hands-on learning of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. It is aimed at providing the participants with a comprehensive overview of TMS. Alvaro Pascual-Leone, MD, PhD, Dylan Edwards, PhD, Alexander Rotenberg, MD, PhD and other outstanding specialists in TMS field are going to deliver their lectures during the course.
The course combines formal teaching and ample practical exposure. To optimize the learning outcome, the sessions are conducted in small groups of up to 24 participants.
The objective of the course is to provide the participants with a thorough understanding on how to determine motor threshold, record motor evoked potentials and safely apply repetitive TMS as well as to make them more prepared in conducting cortical mapping, silent period, input-output curve, and paired-pulse TMS studies. During the course participants will also learn to create TMS protocols and interpret test results.
At the end of the first course day manufacturers of medical equipment are going to showcase their developments. Neurosoft authorized distributor in the USA, TeleEMG, LLC is going to demonstrate our transcranial magnetic stimulator “Neuro-MS/D” there.
The participation cost is 3500 $. Accommodations are not included.
