Annually, the educational course in intraoperative neuromonitoring is organized by ISIN (the International Society of Intraoperative Neurophysiology). Last year it took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, and the next year the course will be held in Seoul, Korea. This year the meeting is organized by the Department of Neurosurgery, Department of Neurology and the Wenckebach Institute of the University Medical Center Groningen together with the ISIN.
The brainstem and peripheral nerve monitoring will be discussed as the main topic of the course. More over, the monitoring during surgery of the spine and deep brain stimulation are also included in the program.
Neurophysiologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists advanced practitioners and other interested physicians are invited.
