Mini Ganzfeld Stimulators Allowing for Binocular Stimulation

The main tests are performed using mini Ganzfeld stimulator, which ensures binocular stimulation with various colors. This has expanded the range of available diagnostic techniques. For example, for glaucoma diagnosis, you can now use:

• PhNR — adaptation to blue background with red flash stimulation
• S-cone ERG — adaptation to yellow background with blue flash stimulation

For macular testing, penlights with selectable stimulation colors are used. The penlights are fixed on a special holder and can be adjusted not only in three planes but also have a fourth degree of freedom (hinge), which solves the problem of fixing the stimulator near the pupil.

Wide Range of Recording Electrodes

Included with the system is a proprietary set of ERG electrodes that feature a special hook and loop design. Surface electrodes can be used as well with the system, eliminating uncomfortable contact with an eye and providing an optimal solution for patients with intolerance to traditional corneal electrodes.
