Diagnostic system for for polygraphic sleep research
Sleep Surfing

The system was developed under the control of Professor Levin, Director of RF Ministry of Health somnological center. The system is delivered as an extra module for the "Neuron-Spectrum-2", "Neuron-Spectrum-3", "Neuron-Spectrum-4" and "Neuron-Spectrum-4/EP" electroencephalographers.

MZ RF (Russian Federation Ministry of Health) Certificate №1002/02-00005 of 11.10.2002

The advantages of the system:

  • continuous registration of polysomnographic parameters (EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG) of up to 32 channels.
  • independent tuning of the channels (amplification, low-pass and high-pass filters, curve colour, bipolar recording)
  • marking of the events during recording and data processing, quick positioning at the required marker
  • polysomnogram registration with simultaneous viewing and analyzing of already recorded data in different windows
  • search of specific phenomena
  • manual detection of sleep stages, awakening reactions, etc. with automatic hypnogram creation
  • standard means for data analysis (СПМ, amplitude spectrum, mapping, etc.)
  • automatic calculation and storage of main and segment sleep parameters
  • automatic calculation of Sleep Index (integrated sleep parameter)
  • reports (curves, hypnogram, analysis results)
  • patient database (unlimited number of records)
  • EDF data export
  • EEG export into the "Music of the brain" program

Hardware and software requirements:

  • Windows XP, (standard blue scheme)
  • PENTIUM IV computer,
  • monitor-17'' with the resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels
  • random-access memory- 256 MB,
  • hard disk from 20 Gb
  • recording CD-ROM,
  • Нewlet Packard laser or jet black-and-white or color printer
