Neurosoft and the RAAM: the Race to Success Across America

On the 11th of June the Race Across America (RAAM) will start in Oceanside, California. This is the annual bike race running from the west to the east coast of the U.S. and it is ranked as the most extreme sport event in the world. 39 athletes from all over the world will take part in the race this year. All the participants will try to cycle 3000 miles across 12 states riding 250-350 miles a day, balancing speed and the need for sleep.

One of the athletes, Gerald Bauer from Austria, will be accompanied by his personal physician Dr. Fyodor Fomin (Neurosoft) and by Bernd Eckerstorfer (HYPOXI). HYPOXI multispectrum sports performance laboratory was developed by three companies, Neurosoft (Ivanovo), Scheme (Moscow) and HYPOXI (Austria). Gerald Bauer have been working with MULTISPECTRUM-HYPOXI for half a year with the assistance of Fyodor Fomin and now he is ready to compete with other athletes for the best results in the Race Across America 2013.

During the whole race this system will help specialists to:

  • perform the assessment of the athlete’s physical state before each stage of the race
  • monitor the state of athlete’s cardio-vascular system during the whole race
  • perform daily trainings using MULTISPECTRUM-HYPOXI multispectrum sports performance laboratory controlling the heart rate variability for faster athlete’s recovery
